About Master's Thesis

Previous Entry Master's Thesis Nov. 5th, 2007 @ 11:43 am
I am having trouble finding an international topic to do for a Master's thesis. This does not have to be a topic completely unique, but I really have already written small papers about all the topics that interest me, and I rather have something fresh since any fun will be exhausted by the time I complete the paper.

So anyone have ideas for a good topic to explore?

Well, might as well start with the most obvious of questions. What are you interested in working on? You have to remember that you're going to be devoting a large amount of time at this project, and if you're not interested in the topic, you'll just burn yourself out faster

It's actually a moot point now. If you notice, I requested this to be submitted on November 5th but for some reason the moderators for this community can't seem to their job and it takes 3 weeks for them to be able to approve something.

Thanks for trying to help though. I ended up going with comparative military structures and the resulting government types that emerge. For example, since the US has civilian control of the military, not many high-ranking military officers end up in government leadership slots, whereas in a lot of countries with authoritarian and military governments have it differently.
